Biography

Eugene Edwards moved to Atlanta, Georgia from Fort Lauderdale, Florida where he was an active member of the NAACP for ten years.  When he moved to Henry County, Georgia eight years ago, he and his wife immediately joined the Henry County Branch.

He is married to Annette H. Edwards. They have two children and two grandchildren. He attends New Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Decatur, Georgia where he is an active deacon on the deacon board.  Mr. Edwards is a 1997 graduate of Bernau University and retiree from Dekalb County Government.
